We finally have a legal definition for 'renewable hydrogen'! Hopefully, MEPs and Member States can now adopt ambitious targets dedicated to renewables and renewable hydrogen. Looking forward to reading more thoughts on the newly added measures! Our thoughts below:

We need to create a market for renewable hydrogen: it's a no-regret clean technology for now and the future. Let's create it by establishing dedicated targets. Of course they need to be realistic, but mixing them with fossils would defeat the purpose 👇 @SolarPowerEU

A coalition of Member States believes that setting targets for renewables is too much of a burden. They are fighting to open up those targets to include fossil-based hydrogen. We must oppose this. Keep the #RED targets for #renewablehydrogen only
