Delighted that our paper on sea cucumber #aquaculture farming in southwest #Madagascar is published! Experiments showed that at a certain density, farmed ‘zanga’ resulted in an increase in #seagrass growth rates, helping support vital #ecosystem services!

The Maldivian Government has announced it will not resume longline fishing. A decision that supports local fishers and threatened species of sharks, rays and turtles 🦈 Congratulations to our Maldivian colleagues for working tirelessly to make this happen 👏

New paper shows how coastal nutrient pollution impacts seagrass #bluecarbon storage by speeding up decomposition & increasing CO2 emissions. Managing coastal nutrients is crucial to preserve the ability of seagrass meadows to act as carbon sinks. https://t.co/1UMhCFeVE5
