.@iamwesmoore seems more focused on auditioning for President by picking fights with @realDonaldTrump than protecting Marylanders. That kind of posturing risks real federal support — including the billions needed to rebuild the Key Bridge.

What a difference two years makes. In January 2023, you were bragging about a surplus. Now, you’re crying deficit after blowing through the surplus like it was Black Friday.
We’ve debunked this myth time and time again. The Hogan Administration left us with a long-predicted structural deficit that we turned into a surplus — all while cutting or not changing income taxes for 94% of Marylanders.

No one is better at gaslighting than @iamwesmoore. He walked into a post-COVID recovery, blew through the surplus and then some, and now Maryland’s laying off state employees while businesses and taxpayers flee the state in record numbers.
Donald Trump’s funding cuts and mass layoffs led to Maryland losing around 8,500 jobs in June and our biggest single-month drop in federal jobs in nearly 30 years. Despite that – and because of our partnership with the private sector – Maryland is still keeping our unemployment.
