Why can’t programmers tell the difference between Halloween & Christmas? Because oct 31 = dec 25.

Lets take this further and talk about the second piller of Rapport. Sociality rights : The unspoken rules about how we expect to be treated by others and how we expect interactions to go. It is simple, people have expectations about fairness and respect in any interaction.
One of the most facsinating things I have learnt while selling is the importance of "face" in conversation. so lets talk about face for a bit. Specifically in context of managing rapport with your counterparties. Face is a person's sense of public self-image, worth and identity

You can simply choose to view the world in a way where every obstacle is a blessing and every setback an opportunity. Don't wish for things to be easier! Do work to become stronger.

Inspired by all the attention @sanidhya_n was getting with our fundraising posts, he decided to make a video using https://t.co/rhVimybTLM on how we started Dashverse. Mostly true I think @lalith0106 ?

Last night’s outages really brought this into focus. There was nothing to do apart from waiting for the cloud platforms to fix their issues.
Cloud concentration wrecked the internets primary design goal: aggregate resilience. DARPA designed it to survive a damn nuclear strike. Now it can barely survive a single hyperscaler wobbling. We've pissed DARPA's genius away. Tragic.

I've been using Kagi for a year now and it has been an amazing experience. There is a noticeable difference in search results as compared to Google, where I had to append reddit or some other site name at the end to get somewhat usable results
kinda insane how a small indie company somehow managed to make a better search engine than Google, Microsoft and Yandex combined by Simply Not Milking Users For Data

Pretty apt. Seeing the same push in almost every app which is on their first iteration of adding LLM to their offerings

@lennysan @shreyas The side of ‘moving fast’ that people rarely talk about. Too much kool aid around shipping fast and getting things out the door without enough effort to be more right than wrong.
Here’s a likely hot take: Every piece of advice about moving fast should include some perspective on the level of thoughtfulness required. One-liners need to be punchy but sometimes lead builders to overlook the growing importance of craftsmanship (or 'taste,' being the
