I was delighted to be asked to design the book cover for this new collection celebrating the Edinburgh poet Robert Fergusson!. Fergusson was born between two Edinburgh closes which no longer exist, so for this design I combined the familiar skyline with imaginary/invented closes.

A beautiful morning here at Newbattle Abbey. A very historic place where the Declaration of Arbroath was (most likely!) drafted. I’m here today exhibiting my work at the Newbattle Summer Fair, featuring all sorts of crafters and designers. Open to the public 10.30am - 5pm. ☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
