Ironically, banning the nonexistent teaching of Critical Race Theory made a lot of people want to learn about critical race theory.

Such an amazing story of anti-colonial solidarity: between 1947 and 1954, hundreds of Moroccans (and Algerians, Tunisians) deserted the French army in Vietnam and switched sides, joining the ranks of the Việt Minh to fight the colonizer. 1/3

The North American response to COVID-19 is such a clear illustration of how settler colonial notions of “freedom” are founded on a fundamental willingness to kill people lots and lots of people

Protesting is a crime. Criticising this government is a crime. Being #Muslim is a crime. Let us not pretend that there is anything more to #UmarKhalid's arrest than this. #IStandWithUmarKhalid https://t.co/jmQYnJ6x4F

My syllabus includes unlearning objectives because they call into question the foundation of learning. It forces us to not only grapple with what we have learned, but the assumption that learning is an inherently good linear process. To know certain things is to un-know others.

What's happening in Portland, Oregon, is what the US military does everywhere it goes, around every US military base, in every country the US invades and occupies. Stop saying "this shouldn't happen in America." This *is* America; the America inflicted on the rest of the world.

Ivanka Trump romanticising the poverty and devastation in India. The migrants and the marginalised who are walking thousands of kilometers to escape starvation are not a symbol of endurance but indifference of the regime and criminal apathy of the ruling elite.

“This Jewish descendant of Holocaust victims has no right to criticize the Nazis threatening him... because he supports Palestinian human rights.” Is that really your position? Disgusting and dangerous.

The sight of a Nazi flag at @BernieSanders rally was disgusting & has no place in America. Yet i find his outrage a little manufactured. After all, he has embraced Antisemites like Sarsour, Omar & Tlaib who call for Israel's destruction & compare the Jewish state to Nazi Germany.
