Development updates! We've updated a couple of the sites on our map at https://t.co/4GeIwzF8sR. Most of the updates are related to developments in the Central and Beasley neighbourhoods. See the thread below for details! #HamOnt @CentralHamOnt @our_BNA

A humble building matched with a sympathetic caretaker. It’s a victory in preserving Hamilton’s past. My story in the Bay Observer. https://t.co/u7y4PtcKnK

There are many ways to tell a new kind of story on a street, and redefine it’s use. This 2017 installation in Montreal recalling the psychedelic spirit of the sixties by Claude Cormier remains one of my favourites.

@RemiGau Opportunity cost is the difficult part to estimate. And also, can one put a monetary value on someone developing mental health issues because of lost sleep because of collecting/curating data that already exists elsewhere? Which reminds me, i have to go lose some sleep...

Here is another one. We know from COVID that Long Term care homes don’t pay workers enough, and that they need to ensure full time pay, hours and benefits. It’s not only wrong, it’s life and death, literally /2

I support using our tax $ for SoBi. What other form of transport that serves 26,000 citizens has to fundraise for it? It is a public means of transportation. We pay for bike lanes. We pay for roads. We pay for sidewalks. Fund SoBi and stop the politics with our lives. #HamOnt
Today City Council has the opportunity to right the wrong done last week over #SoBi. I ask them to do the right thing. Thank you to all citizens who spoke up and donated. It should not have come to this. The anguish and pain caused to 26,000 Hamiltonians is inexcusable.

Or shuffle off ideas that are being implemented around the world swiftly and with ease (ahem, city wide cycling networks) by calling them ‘radical.’
