This just actively pissed me off. Laying off Dixon is one of THE worst decisions they’ve ever made. The work that he has put in to not just navigate creator relations but the metaphysical bullets he’s taken for that company just to be tossed aside… wow.
Unfortunately, I was informed today that my position on @Wizards_DnD has been impacted as part of a corporate re-organization. I have been laid off. More words will come later, for now I am just heartbroken.

This is absolutely absurd. Dixon was a force in helping restore some sense of trust after the OGL. Absolutely boneheaded decision.

Dixon is one of ~5 people at Wizards who gave me hope that the company would listen to community feedback and do the right thing. He is genuine, he is intentional, and he cares deeply about the creators he works with. If you're looking for a new creator relations pro - hire him.
