Blossm Talent Recruiter. PR. Horse mom. As seen in NBC News, Rolling Stone, Vice, Forbes, NY Times, and Hustler. DMs for workers, press, paying customers only.
I don’t want to be an alarmist but this is something we should all start preparing for.
The day after PornHub went down the antis started talking about OnlyFans.
Now that OnlyFans has bowed to their whims they are setting their sights on Twitter.
I started volunteering at a horse sanctuary. They assigned me this beautiful flaxen pony named Ayla. We’re both a little slow and lazy so we get each other.
Why are so many people leaving sex work?
My guess is that a lot of the people who started doing it in 2019-2021 thought it was always going to be like that and they didn’t realize how saturated the market would become and that demand wouldn’t keep up. Also, a recession.
Also,
A non-sex worker can tweet “Sex work is work” and get thousands of likes but when an actual sex worker says the exact same thing we hardly get any engagement.
Sex work isn’t just work. We have to work even harder than anyone else just to get our message across.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
Porn is not a public health crisis.
This is Franklin. I went to check him out on Friday. He’s super affectionate and I’m considering him for purchase.
He’s about $5,000 overpriced and I would definitely need a pre-purchase exam but I do think with a little work we could become a great team. He’s sooo handsome.
They aren’t going to be satisfied with taking out PornHub or OnlyFans. They want us gone and they make millions of dollars on their campaigns against us so they aren’t going to stop.
They are against all forms of sex work.
Just read an article that outlines how to find SWers personal identities. In case it isn’t obvious, we don’t want you to do this and under no circumstance is it appropriate.
If you do this to me I will personally destroy you in ways that you can’t even fathom and I will make
I love when non-SW say things like, “Twitter isn’t going to censor sex workers” like we haven’t been deplatformed countless times.
1. READ THE ROOM.
2. STOP MINIMIZING WHAT SEX WORKERS ARE SAYING.
@XBIZ
Hey
@AOC
staffers, I really hope you read this article and educate yourselves on what NCOSE is all about.
You’ve famously tweeted, “Sex work is work,” but this contradicts that sentiment.
The irony is that SW has allowed me to be pickier than I would have been otherwise.
I’ve been lucky enough to be successful in this line of work, way more than I was working in tech. Any man I’m with needs to bring a lot to the table.
Disclosing my work is also a great way to
I’ve had a couple of jerks comment on my weight gain recently and I just want to let everyone know that as someone who has dealt with body dysmorphia and ED her whole life I’m proud of the fact that I’m not hiding or punishing my body right now and I’m also not here to apologize
I really don’t understand SWers who support Trump.
1. You realize he signed SESTA/FOSTA, right?
2. You also realize that the Heritage Foundation explicitly state they want to ban p*rn, right?
WHY would you vote against your own interests?
Hi Lisa, as a sex worker I
cringed when I heard you say this live on air.
Paid full service sex workers DO NOT give consent to sex permanently or indiscriminately. Also, exotic dancing and adult film acting are indeed forms of sex work.
Please educate yourself on this topic.
The effort to conflate a woman who worked as an exotic dancer and adult film actor with a paid sex worker and who gives consent to sex permanently and indiscriminately is problematic. 2/
Before you accuse me of causing hysteria and panic remember that I called it on PornHub and OnlyFans (albeit 6 months early on OF). You don’t have to panic if you know your adversaries’ next moves and make adjustments preemptively.
Because we live at the intersection of sex and creativity, one of the best pieces of advice I can give to my SW peers is to be extremely discerning about who you spend your time with especially when it comes to romantic partnerships.
Being around people who bring you down will
People who are experts about sex work: sex workers.
People who are not experts on sex work: Catherine MacKinnon, Laila Mickelwait, Hayley McNamara, Nicholas Kristof, Benjamin Nolot.
Why would any news organization platform non-experts over experts who have lived experience?
Sex workers have been begging
@iamjohnoliver
and
@LastWeekTonight
to do this story for years and I am ecstatic that they not only covered it but they did an *excellent* job.
Sex Work: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)
Very proud of Stormy Daniels.
While the defense tried to discredit her because of her job, she held strong and it sounds like the courtroom and jury took her seriously.
I know it sounds weird to oppose age verification to adult sites (no one wants minors looking at porn, ok?) but these laws are going to put the adult industry out of business.
Even if you don’t live in one of these states you are being impacted.
It’s time to wake the fuck up
Oh lord, apparently I’ve sparked today’s SWer discourse.
My bad for saying that SWers should support other SWers!!
I’m not sure why that’s so controversial!!
Something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately is how lonely it can feel when you hit your goals in sex work.
So if you’re a sex worker and you’re proud of an accomplishment, feel free to brag in the comments. My DMs are also open if you want to brag in private.
“They did it because they’re trying to get investors!”
“They did it because of MasterCard!”
“The did it because of political pressure!”
*Whispers* It can be more than one thing and these are all part of it.
My HOT TAKE of the day is that we need to talk more openly about signs that your therapist sucks so people can find a better clinician sooner and/or not give up on therapy as a whole.
It’s Nicholas Kristof, it’s Laila Mickelwait/Exodus Cry, it’s Eliza Bleu, it’s Ann Wagner/other politicians, it’s MasterCard/payment processors, it’s investors, it’s OnlyFans, it’s the assholes who put child porn and non-consensual content on there.
It isn’t just one thing.
Russell Brand is a perfect example of how the sex addiction model is mostly useless.
Sexual abuse is not “sex addiction.”
Abusers love to claim they’re “sex addicts” as a means to protect themselves from accountability.

Journalists,
If you are writing an article about OnlyFans and you interview a religious anti-porn organization and not sex workers you are bad at your job and should never write on the adult industry ever again.
Thanks.
- a tired sex worker
“X-rated” means something is inappropriate for audiences under the age of 17 and it usually connotes that a film contains pornographic content.
The letter ‘X’ is associated the adult industry.
M*sk knows this yet he changes Twitter’s name to “X”.
While openly admitting to
Sex workers! Here’s a fantastic tool for self-care that may be extra helpful right now. See a whorephobic, ignorant tweet? Nuke that shit and move on with your day.
You won’t even know that it’s me fucking with you. I will do it silently and patiently in the background but know that I will never forgive and I will never forget.
I have a bunch of journalists who cover the adult industry following me so this tweet is for them:
One of our biggest resources has lost their Twitter Account. Pineapple Support provides an invaluable service for SWers and this is a huge deal that should be covered.
The idea that you have to appeal to the masses to find a partner is ridiculous.
Having an OF has not hurt my dating prospects whatsoever. And for the record I exclusively date uber-successful men and they don’t care.
I have no idea who Claire is referring to here but I will say that I *do not* recommend using someone who markets themselves as an adult industry tax pro.
I did once and was given very costly advice that took years to remedy.
