U.S. Steel reached a tentative settlement with Allegheny County Health Dept. and environmental groups over air pollution following the 2018 Christmas Eve fire. The lawsuit was set for trial in federal court next month.

Stopped by the site of the derailment and there’s definitely a chemical smell there. People are in their homes right next to it. The Ohio EPA says the air here is safe.
