I told mum I had thought up a new way to feed some of the ewes. She told me it wouldn’t work, at 7.30 this morning it turns out she was right ... South Shropshire life.

Good news! 🙌 Shropshire’s Ironbridge Gorge Museums (@IronbridgeGMT) are to be saved for the nation. The @nationaltrust will secure the future of the museums within the @UNESCO World Heritage Site, following a £9 million government grant.

Oh my goodness yesterday was Spooniversary ❤️❤️❤️🏰 I’m not being dramatic when I say the sole reason I still check in on X is little spoon. He was tiny and affronted, now he’s big and filling our feeds and hearts with joy - look at him!
Four years ago this evening, I had an email about a kitten who apparently needed someone to foster him for a couple of days. He turned out to be absolutely tiny, slightly affronted, and totally impossible to resist. He's still here now. Happy Spooniversary, dearest little Spoon!

Fred is a creature of habit. Every evening he walks with me to the field boundary, admires the sky, then goes back with me to the walled garden to help retire the hens. Last of all, he jumps up on the bench, waiting for me to tell him what a very good cat he is.
