Important thread about #AI in #education 👇 Must read. Indiscriminate use of AI in education will destroy what little we have left of education in #Pakistan
My opinion about introducing AI tools in primary schools: DON'T DO IT, as it won't allow their minds to develop. Let kids first learn reading and comprehension, and writing and composition through engaging with texts the traditional way, and through all the struggle it involves.

Trump's health leaders are fools/knaves/charlatans/conspiracy theorists. He picked worst person in world for each health position. Makary, FDA head, seemed better choice-but he too is a disaster. Trump corrupts all he touches. "You lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas."

This is necessary to set "best practice standards" as well as pinpoint malpractice to protect patients and families from untrained and unscrupulous practitioners! We must do more! #MentalHealth #mentalhealthsupport

More needs to be done! Leaders in Psychology need to step forward and pro-actively work with the Council to define nomenclature (Psychologist, 'therapist', 'counselor' etc), develop license requirements and procedures and write rules and regulations to set standards of practice

An excellent tweet! In fact, multiple efforts by Psychology colleagues over the years have failed to yield any results regarding regulation or licensing. A dismal situation indeed! However, there is a silver lining!

There is still time to rediscover why we were (are) passionate about what we do. Hint: it's not so we can "diagnose" (label) people and prescribe "medicines" (of dubious benefit). Hint#2: Empathy, the relationship, listening w/o judging etc etc

As #Psychiatry practitioners and students, we have drifted far away from our humanistic roots into the medical swamp. A huge tragedy largely of our own making!

In 2012, the UN General Assembly designated June 1 as the Global Day of Parents. Its theme this year is Raising Parents, pointing to something obvious but often overlooked: parenting is a learned skill acquired over time, through error and patience. https://t.co/o0zT6Gh7pZ
