In the context of current affairs, there are worse things. In the context of goings on in healthcare and the conscious erosion of the NHS, the below is correct and I stand by non consultant doctors striking. Can’t have adequate healthcare system without adequate staff/ing.
I’ve been a Doctor 36yrs & I understand why Residents have resorted to strikes. 20% less pay than Drs in 2008, £100k student debt, poor working conditions/job security, higher pension contributions, longer working life as pension after 67yrs. I had it good & Karol had it better.

So important this is heard, even if it’s years later, and to eloquently put words to the trauma frontline staff experienced. There was no break, just more pressure to clear a backlog. Thank you @Kevin_Fong for your work in how staff are affected.
