Honoured to be a small part of this important discovery led by the fantastic @tristramryan demonstrating the anticoagulant capabilities of DMF and 4-OI, published in @NatureComms. Congrats!.
Buzzing to share my PhD work out now in @NatureComms. We've found a procoagulant type I interferon-tissue factor axis in macrophages, and the anti-inflammatory drugs DMF (clinically approved) and 4-OI are anticoagulants via inhibition of type I IFN-TF!.
