There is no shortage of new quality kids' TV content, and even if there were, we now have decades of back-catalog available. There are over 55 years of Sesame Street episodes, who cares if they aren't making new ones? It's not like we keep adding new letters to the alphabet.
NEWS: PBS Kids will be forced to CUT BACK on new programming if GOP budget cuts make it through Congress this week, one of the broadcaster’s executives exclusively told @RealCrookedNews. That could include new “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” episodes and “Arthur” content.

imagine just admitting that your uncle was the bad guy.
my uncle worked for DARPA/NSF for many years. Every year the same general came to his office and pitched "Let's make mech warriors". He changed the phrasing and the concept every so slightly. but it always came out to "Let's make mech warriors." . My uncle said no every year.

Speaking for myself, every single time I have entered a lease or purchased a home I have had quite a bit of discretion over fraction of my consumer spending that went towards housing.
Why does the average consumer feel worse off?. Because 41% of consumer spending goes to: housing, utilities, healthcare, medications, and insurance. This was 16% in 1947, 30% in 1980, and 35% in 1990. Fewer consumer dollars are left for true discretionary spending.

okay but neither you nor any of the rest of us are unaware of the answers to all of those questions.
Again the de minimis question about this is why did the attorney general, the FBI director, and the deputy director of the FBI all promise important revelations about this alleged hoax and how will they be held accountable for misleading the public?.

1) In a world with few artificial barriers to home construction, MID is a theoretically correct tax treatment.2) In the NIMBY world it is much worse.3) Ending MID reduces the number of itemizers making it politically easier to end other bad deductions (we hope).
It is time to revisit the need for the mortgage interest deduction. MID gets priced into the cost of homes making home ownership less affordable, especially in urban areas. Trump Can’t Ignore Our Housing Crisis by William A. Galston via @WSJopinion.

what exactly does it say about the psychology and values of someone who will threaten and insult another person one day and have totally forgotten it by the next?.
There’s something incredibly funny and fitting about the fact that the vast majority of Americans have already forgotten the “Canada 51st state” stuff months ago but Canadians are still up there fuming

Not great. And it looks like this really is a DOGE effect.
The BLS's issues with CPI data collection appear to be getting worse. The share of uncollected items subject to "different cell" imputation (meaning they're based on different items or items from different geographies) hit another record last month. (Data goes back to 2019.)

Doubtful. I think those tweets represented Elmo's sincere, strongly-held opinions.
On Sunday, Elmo’s X account was briefly hacked by an outside party, in spite of the security measures in place. We strongly condemn the abhorrent antisemitic and racist content, and the account has since been secured. These posts in no way reflect the values of Sesame Workshop

the why is people are stupid.
NEW: @MiamiHerald / @WLRN investigation reveals 182 people have been struck and killed by Brightline trains. While key safety measures are delayed, Brightline remains the deadliest passenger train in U.S. We compared with other railroads to explain why.
