Weapons is currently at the same odds as Jay Kelly to win Best Picture at this year’s Oscars… Jay. Kelly. Absurdity. It’s been met with such snivelling derision by some when it was by far one of the best films of the year. Really hope Madigan wins again and again.
I will not accept any “Amy Madigan doesn’t deserve the Oscar” chatter when this is the material. People are so caught up in the kooky Aunt Gladys stuff they’re forgetting she’s a legitimately terrifying villain.
