This is the floor plan of a studio apartment, the entrance is at the bottom of the image and the only actual window is at the top. The unit is about 37sqm which is the absolute minimum that is legally permissible for this type of unit. 1/

❣️The statistics for improved walkability and less traffic in your neighbourhood on your health is staggering. 8 year delay in onset of dementia? Longer life span? Why would every town and city not grasp that for its people?

Filtered permeability: - higer walkability - 8yr delay in onset of dementia - significantly more likely to live to 100 - ⬇️ in social isolation (huge burden of mortality) - ⬇️ likelihood of serious/fatal collision involving a speeding motor vehicle and a pedestrian, as per 👇

Lots of this type of work has happened in northern Germany< Belgium, Holland also…happy cycling families, couples etc cycling between towns as a result…its all good precedent for new Irish inter-town cycle connections..! @UCDCfIT
