Thanks for sharing Kate …the work continues to highlight the contribution of Physiotherapy in improving patient outcomes in ED and getting NI on the map #cpmh.
This map represents the very limited areas in the UK that have Physiotherapy as part of eating disorder services. Not very many dots are there 😕.Physio must be commissioned equally alongside other professions as part of the MDT. Any other ED physios out there pls get in touch!!

Thank you for acknowledging and sharing Pauline. A trauma informed approach to our intervention has the potential to manage these experiences better and in turn improve patient outcome and self care #cpm.
Physical health and psychological health are so interlinked that it’s impossible to treat one without taking into consideration the other.
