Kenya doesn't need redistribution policies. Kenya needs policies that boost productivity and employment.

Mko so strict when it comes to Maraga but when it was uhuru you voted for him as a birthday gift.
Si kwa ubaya, but I am really struggling to see the political ideology of this man? What does he stand for? What does his past as a career civil servant show us? Did he transform the dockets he was incharge of?

Force will never be a substitute for democracy, not in Kenya at least. PS: For those who keep complaining about "Kenyan meddling", I hope you now understand how shortsighted you are. EA nations are joined at the hip and one thing in one country affects almost all others.

Africa needs investors who will stop treating political dysfunction as an externality and start treating it as a red flag. Investing in countries that jail journalists and shut down the internet should not be seen as optimism. It’s negligence.
techcabal.com
When the internet goes dark, we shrug. When opposition figures are jailed, we stay neutral. When entrepreneurs are crushed under arbitrary taxes, we refer to it as “regulatory friction.”

I've finally published my longest @TechCabal feature yet, and honestly, the word count alone is a bit wild (3,000+ words based on 12 people interviewed)! The story is even better: the school behind Nigeria's STEM geniuses. 🧵
What does it take for a school to produce constant maths geniuses? Graceland International School has perfected the student-to-math-genius pipeline. How do they do it? https://t.co/tSFrjIZ7Po

I am working on an article why Kenya should abandon the hype around manufacturing and industrialisation as the pathway to job creation. Our best bet are agriculture & services sectors - given our own endowment & global value chains. The article is still work in progress.

Revolutions are always conducted by those at the “bottom of the barrel” as they have most to gain and nothing to lose.
Look at all these bums disgracing themselves in the name of making a point. Maybe its a privilege not to join your ranks with this behaviour Btw I can bet my life on this.. All these Advocates with vuvuzelas in court are the very bottom of the barrel in practice

Dear founders, please listen, as you build, help fix the politics too.
For 18 hours, families in Tanzania couldn’t receive money from loved ones abroad. Why? Internet blackout. This isn’t about tech — it’s about food, medicine, and survival. I’ve had calls from people abroad, desperate to pay hospital bills they can’t send money for. Internet
