It's probably been a decade since I've had a serious issue with linux, but my laptop won't boot with the latest kernel in ubuntu 22.04 LTSđ. It's as simple as booting with an older kernel, but rather annoying! https://t.co/wK4JeAw3lx

Updated to Kernel 5.15.0-160 from Kernel 5.15.0-157, System seemed to boot but I never got the usual splash logo while booting. Eventually the fans stop and the system sits idle with no video output....

In its current state, do you support @dathon_ohmâs Reduced Data Temporary Softfork (BIP 444)?

@reardencode Elon was trying to stop the signal (Rearden is locked out of his xitter). He's attempting to pick up the pieces here: https://t.co/6HgRBWXwcQ

Square did their part, now letâs do ours. For bitcoin to become everyday money, merchants need to accept it. But first, theyâll need a reason to. We've put together the resources to help anyone make the case that only bitcoin can defeat credit card fees: https://t.co/fYkCARD5MD

If there is a chain split as a result of the UASF for "Reduce Data Temporary Soft Fork", there will be 2 coins: UASF-BTC & NO-UASF-BTC UASF-BTC: the chain applying the rules of the UASF NO-UASF-BTC: the current consensus rules, not applying any new changes Will you...?

What are we even doing here? This is the opening salvo of the dumb cat and mouse game we all warned about at the outset. <push 255 bytes> OP_DROP ... Inscriptions can adapt to it before the soft fork even activates! (Plus a nice premium on the "pre-ban" inscriptions)

@melvincarvalho @heavilyarmedc Note that it is within IETF working group that they use rough consensus. They also donât try to involve every individual internet user in their decision process.

Just incase its not clear: Theyâre going to send threatening letters to the legal teams at mining pools to try to pressure them into running the fork.

A fork under the threat of âlegal consequencesâ is the most clear case of an attack on Bitcoin

The new softfork (BIP 444) proposed by the filterbois has verbiage that you would see in a government mandated soft fork. These people have become completely disconnected from the reality of how Bitcoin functions, its value proposition, and its security model. Disavow them.
