Hey @AppleSupport , My watch quit responding to touch 5 days after my 24-month Apple Care expires and I am being told (politely) that I am just out of luck as the rep was denied making an exception for me. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed.

Amen, Jez. Merit, though meant to depict some sort of “earned right”, is more often a disguise for tenure or experience. Diversity is a strength, not a requirement. I believe a mid-level URM often has more merit than a Sr-level CIS white male.
If we lived in a meritocracy fewer CEOs would look like Frank Slootman. The fact so many do is evidence that systemic discrimination currently overrides merit. If these CEOs really wanted to better serve their employees, customers, & shareholders, they’d be doing a better job.

Why do I still wear a mask despite being vaccinated? Sikh wisdom tells us that a truly wise person is one who fears none and frightens none. Wearing my mask is not for me. It's out of compassion for others who don't know that I'm vaccinated. Feels like the right thing to do.
