I'd prefer if lab grown meat was *actual* meat, like a chemical reconstruction of real meat in a lab. Like if you looked at with a microscope you'd see the same thing. Instead of trying to make a similar taste but still off taste using weird plant based ingredients.
Opposition to lab grown meat is just mindless hysteria. If we can recreate the taste and texture of meat without any of the associated negatives, people should be happy. If we no longer have to raise and slaughter billions of animals a year that would be great for our planet.

Screw that, if we're assuming that the base reality has the same/similar rules to ours (big assumption) then the probability of us not being in base reality is even lower. In our current universe p(intelligent life who can make simulations) ≈ 0. Therefore, it should be.

This implies simulations inside simulations, which poses the question of a recursion limit. As p -> 0 where p is the probability of us being in the base reality, k -> inf where k is the number of recursed realities. Increasingly insignificant probability of being in base.
