And of course - these resources will be free and adaptable! So you can use them to augment your local syllabus, existing curriculum and individual lessons to help improve the hard work you do. I really hope it will be of use to you all! @NATREupdate @TeamRE_UK

So - at the moment you can see the units, titles and disciplines. Right now, some incredible teachers are creating the slide decks and quizzes that will bring this all to life. We will be releasing it as we go so watch this space for the first units!

We hope our curriculum is academically rigorous, but we also want it to be rooted in the reality of our multi-religious and multi-secular landscape. So pupils will meet cases studies of people with religious and non-religious worldviews.

Our curriculum sequence is guided by threads which encompass big concepts and ideas in RE. Each enquiry is also led by a discipline or 'way of knowing' such as Theology, Philosophy or Social science. So pupils will investigate content shaped by that discipline.

We've thought carefully about sequencing and content. We're indebted to the hard work of @RECouncil and the work of all those who created the National Content Standard. Our work at Oak stands on giants in the RE community. Getting a balance of breadth and depth is tricky!
