Here's a new thought @Waterstones - given that this was once a school, how about making it the first Waterstones Children's Bookshop - it's the perfect time (National Year of Reading) and it's the perfect town (8 primary schools, large growing population)

Books need to be handled and have their pages turned - particularly important for picture books but fiction also - mercifully we still receive a large number of book packages - today's ACHUKA #BookoftheDay from @OxfordChildrens a case in point
Am genuinely lucky to be able to review books & music for a living but there's no denying that since Covid sent all review copies digital, it's got just a little bit more horrible. An interaction with human creativity, reduced to another joyless, life-sucking digital transaction.
