2. Intentional course scheduling and faculty hiring: Selecting faculty & department chairs who support #AB705 changes, cutting remedial sections, expanding corequisites, offering more statistics & liberal arts math

1. Shared clarity about the need for change: Supporting the campus to understand the why behind enrolling students directly in of transferable, college-level courses, with corequisite support for those who need it

We interviewed 63 faculty and administrators at 16 colleges, focusing especially on colleges in the top 25% for transfer-level completion statewide, with equitable representation among Black & Latinx students. Four key themes emerged.
