I was honored to secure $1.7 million from the state budget to cover the construction costs for @_huertadelvalle's new Educational Center Project. This project will consist of a cooperative learning kitchen, a seed library and classroom, an amphitheater and solar canopy structure.

It was so great to secure $1 million in state funding for Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Upskill’ program. Chamber President Zeb Welborn said it best, “Upskill will enhance collaboration among businesses, help entrepreneurs to start businesses in the Chino Valley.”

In addition to touring this new facility, I spoke to AP Government students. A $30M matching grant from California made it possible for Pacific High School & SBVC to collaborate on a new project to teach diesel/electric transportation mechanics to students at Pacific HS.
