No paperwork needed for access. Other examples include the UK's NHS for residents.

"Take this drug or you will painfully die" has a very different payoff structure than a weight loss treatment for someone who's got a few pounds. It's a no-brainer if you're obese enough that gastric bypass.
imagine being this skeptical a few generations ago about penicillin or insulin. stagnation really has given us stockholm syndrome.

We need more people to read Deming and Ackoff.
The constant battle seems to be explaining on repeat that systems have predictable outcomes and no matter how many times you lecture a machine about your principles it will continue to produce what it was designed to produce.
