We reupholstered the pews at a VERY rural country church in the Beartooths. I visited in February and it started snowing (I HAD CHECKED THE WEATHER THAT DAY) and I kind of hoped I was gonna get stuck out there after I measured. The people were great!.

It is reasonable at times to expand government power to changing times and I think that’s mostly what TR did.

Midwestern honor culture is all about humility and minimizing accomplishments. It can be crabs-in-a-bucket sometimes but I love it so. This is one of the major tensions between Southern and Midwest culture and the cause of strife here on this app.

I find it funny I am trying to defend the Midwesterners and they all show up like “appreciate it, but our food does suck.” I appreciate this about you! Southerners struggle with even mild self-criticism.
