I’ve tabled amendment that says the cost of assisted dying needs to be published. Also what services will be stopped to do this

No one better than @JamesHandscombe – teacher, headmaster, and educational entrepreneur extraordinaire – to write about encouraging schools, pupils, and teachers in curiosity. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book.
Just over a week until the publication of my new book "Cabinet of Curiosity" - an exploration of what schools, teachers and students can do to develop this superpower (and why others such as parents and politicians should be interested, support the endeavour, get involved)

Good confident theological tone to @churchofengland report ‘The Nature of Doctrine & the Living God’, & conviction that theology is about God. Not persuaded by much of its argument, but delighted that Thomas Aquinas is hailed as Common Doctor of the Church https://t.co/QEL9NXGWAN

Clear what this theologian writing a book on mediation as a category in theology needs to get reading: ‘Mater Populi fidelis - Doctrinal Note on Some Marian Titles Regarding Mary’s Cooperation in the Work of Salvation’ (4 November 2025)

Apparently telling a loved one that they are loved and precious and you don’t want them to commit suicide is now “coercion”. This is Orwellian darkness. Up is down, black is white, goodness is evil. What a wicked thing this bill is.

More students in the cathedral than I can remember for a while. My experience over 25 years is that when we pray for their dead, people will come to church.

Hearing this new wonderful recording, I was struck afresh by the sheer beauty and invention of the Goldberg Variations, played here on two guitars (Thibaut Garcia & Antoine Morinière) https://t.co/IXyInfdsLW. Bach then, and these performers now, are awe-inspiring.

A thorough and judicious review of Alice Roberts’ book Domination. I’m glad to be introduced to @TimONeill007’s work more generally and am grateful for the suggestion here to read Peter Heather’s book Christendom.
A learned, entertaining and ultimately devastating review of a book that seems it might almost have been written to aggravate @TimONeill007… https://t.co/0xOVYu5GUk

An obligatory pit stop at the wonder that is Brixworth, a church for which I simply don’t have the words, so I just gave it a hug 🤗

Isidore of Seville would like a word, as would Bede, Alcuin, Rabanus Maurus, Hermann of Reichenau, Adelard of Bath, Albert the Great, Thomas Aquinas, Roger Bacon, Jean Buridan, Nicole Oresme and Chaucer (for a start) not to mention Al-Farghani, Al-Biruni, and Ibn Sīnā.
Hereditary supremacy is a medieval view - those that support it should also be asked if they believe the world to be flat
