Michael Ma was elected as a Conservative by the constituents of Markham-Unionville to fight against Liberal inflationary spending driving up the cost of living in his community. Today, he chose to endorse the very policies he was elected to oppose. The same policies driving up

People across Canada know that the Liberals’ back door deals with CEOs haven’t made groceries any cheaper. We need bold responses to price shocks caused by extreme weather and corporate gouging. When will the government act and deliver on a public option for food?

Watch the Liberal MPs from BC very closely on this one.
Early preview of next week's oppo motion from the CPC. This is expected to be introduced, debated, and voted on, on Tuesday. Wording comes right from the MOU, forcing Liberal MPs to declare whether they support it, without any opposition-inserted flourishes to the language.

Liberals are violating a 50 year oil tanker ban - one they long defended and just enshrined in law - to satisfy Conservatives for a bitumen pipeline. It’s clear only the NDP will protect the BC coast, defend Indigenous rights and address the climate crisis.
We need a new pipeline to the pacific. On Tuesday, the House of Commons will vote on a Conservative motion for a new oil pipeline to the Pacific coast overriding the tanker ban to ship bitumen to Asia. Bring home jobs. Put Canada First.

The PBO has confirmed what housing advocates & the NDP have warned: Carney & Robertson are presiding over a dramatic retreat in federal housing investment—56% in cuts by 2028-29. Families, seniors & unhoused people will feel the consequences. #cdnpoli

British Columbians must unite to oppose Carney’s pipeline and the tankers in the North Coast that threaten our environment, tourism and the economy. #SayNoToTankers Say no to Carney’s pipeline project, and tell your MP to stop the pipeline and protect our coast now.

Calling out each and every BC Liberal MP: are you going to stand with BC, our coastal waters, communities and Indigenous nations or support PM Carney as he tramples over these, puts our economy at risk and deepens the climate crisis?

"This is simply unimaginable. This is a betrayal of so many different values, so many different agreements, so many different orders of rights, and existing Canadian law," says Green Party Leader Elizabeth May in reaction to the new Alberta–Ottawa energy deal. #cdnpoli

Genuinely feels like there's been a coup within the Liberal party thanks to Carney and his bros. Not to say Trudeau's Liberals were much better (they bought a pipeline!) but Carney is a full-blown red tory and I'm shocked more Liberals aren't outraged their party has been
Super cool that we've got a deal for a path towards a pipeline that's tied to a carbon capture project, as if that makes it okay when carbon capture one of the most expensive and least effective options for addressing climate change, and oil companies often use it to EXTRACT

It is something to turn on the news & watch my former Cabinet colleagues say & do the exact opposite of what they claimed to be committed to when I was there. Total lack of principles & backbone. No wonder there is so much cynicism & contempt for our political leaders. #cdnpoli
