So for my many friends posting "Thank oil and gas for being able to survive these temperatures:" I don't disagree with you, BUT -- it's no longer the only way. We are nice and cozy here at -40 with NO gas line to the house. This is thanks to a few things: 1/n #ableg #cdnpoli

The weather in ye ol' #YEG is gettin' pretty chilly. But the air source heat pump (ccASHP, Tosot) is doing just fine. No auxiliary heat yet! Should be interesting to see how it performs at -40°C.

I live at 53° latitude N, in Canada 🇨🇦. There are motorcycles on the last day of the year. I have never ever seen a December ride ever before. It is #ClimatrChange.

New jobs numbers this morning: ✅ 60,000 jobs were created in June. ✅ 950,000 more Canadians are employed compared to pre-pandemic. ✅ Canada has recovered 130% of the jobs lost to COVID, compared to just 117% in the U.S.
