There seems to be an unholy nexus between these encrochers and the authorities. Only reason why no action taken as there are vested interests. Our roads, footpaths and public spaces illegally taken over, making the lives of tax paying citizens in the area a living hell.

There has been a gross misuse and violation of license conditions with PCOs (which in todays day and age are defunct) and handicap booths, for which BMC is intentionally turning a blind eye.

For years residents have been complaining to BMC HW Ward about the illegal encroachments outside Sadhu Vaswani Garden (off HP Junction), Kalpak Corner Building (next to Sadhu Vaswani Garden), V.P. Varde Marg, 38th Road & 30th Road (Gaiety Galaxy Theater Lane) and all the by lanes

@mybmcWardHW If encroachment of public places is encouraged and supported by political parties themselves, what hope do Mumbaikars have? BMC is failing to remove these encroachments permanently. Just hours after action is taken, they come back to encroach this footpath again.

@BandraPS Increase patrols on V.P. Varde Marg & 38th road Bandra West. Theft from drug addicts has become a big issue. There are also groups of boys that gather in the lane between Notan Heights and Kalpak Corner and cause nuisance day and night. Drug’s are openly consumed.

@mybmcWardHW Objections were raised by citizens when a watch shop was moved from Bandra w station to V.P. Varde Marg and then it was used to sell tobacco and other products. Today they have started selling clothes. If BMC doesn’t take action, Bandra will be ruined at this rate.

Spotted @amazonIN delivery van double-parked, offloading packages. When pointed, was told I should be fine as I receive parcels too. Had gumption to ask me to film from front to get van number. Guess blocking the lane is totally okay when it's for "loyal customers," right?

@mybmcWardHW Even the cigarette stall next to it is illegal as when it started it had a licence of area outside Bandra. With the blessings of BMC it’s encroaching more in the area. Why is BMC not taking action on illegal stalls selling tobacco, which is a health issue for youth?

license violations are rampant in the area and BMC turning a blind eye. BMC should cancel licences of all stalls that violate licence conditions and permanently remove the stalls. Also action should be taken against BMC for issuing licence to sell tobacco outside a public garden

@MumbaiPolice Inspite of numerous complaints to Police about the nuisance caused by group of boys in the lane between Kalpak Corner & Notan Heights off 38th road Bandra w, no action taken by Bandra Police. These boys are performing stunts on bikes endangering lives of citizens.

Inaction of BMC HW Ward and Bandra Police in eradicating squatters, is causing a civic mess in Bandra. This menace is getting out of hand.
