Are you studying a law subject for the first time? This is a great introductory resource on our citation style - the AGLC4 - by Jessica Davis, a Teaching and Liaison Librarian at the University of Newcastle. @uonlib @uonlawschool @AGLCTweets

As we enter into the exam period, responses may be delayed. Remember: if you have uncertainty about a source/rule, usually the best place to start is previous issues of the Review, to see whether/how the source has been cited before. Good luck to those sitting exams!

Top tip: if you want to find a previous citation of a source in the Review, try using the @austlii search function on the Reviewβs page! Keep in mind the switch to AGLC4 was finalised for volume 42, so use older issues with care. https://t.co/GQtpPIWe7n

Don't worry if your citations aren't perfect β we don't get it right all the time either https://t.co/6gMnXNiJXN
@rhodrykorb I also strongly encourage you to refer to page xi of the AGLC, specifically the cardinal principles of clarity and consistency. We all make mistakes in citation. Where perfection is impossible, strive to make locating the source quick and easy for your reader.
