Elon Musk has had a lot to say about the grooming gangs scandal. We looked at 24 hours on Musk's X timeline and found a range of false and misleading information being amplified. Produced by Catherine Karelli, Shayan Sardarizadeh and Jake Horton. Graphics by Jacqueline Galvin.

Devastating! Just imagine - it’s 1965. You pose with your husband and daughters for a new Ladybird book: The Postman. Ladybird immortality beckons. But when the book is finally published ... you find you’ve been turned into ...

Despite a landscape of failed #CCS projects around the world, the Govt is throwing £22bn at the technology - allowing fossil fuel companies to pursue new polluting projects There is a nature-based alternative. Why isn't the Govt looking at that?

Tony Benn’s plea to see Arabs as humans is as true today as it was then; we don’t have men of his moral fibre in Parliament anymore, instead we have careerist cowards who have barely mentioned today’s slaughter in Lebanon

Word of the day is ‘kuchisabishii’, from Japanese: boredom eating, or the making of frequent visits to the fridge in the hope of finding something new to munch on. Its literal translation is ‘lonely mouth’.

I just learned about Ewa Kłobukowska, a Polish sprinter who set multiple world records in the 1960s She "failed a gender test" and was banned and had all her records stripped. The papers called her a man The next year she gave birth to a son. She never received an apology

🧵 Just to recap, because events move so fast, it’s hard to make sense of them: firstly, a group of far right politicians, social media ‘names’ & organised fascists jumped on a tragedy to claim that the person responsible for the carnage in Southport was a Muslim / refugee. 1/13

As others have said, cornflower thrown at an ancient monument makes the news, with lots of pearl clutching, but this huge peaceful march by hundreds of thousands of people who know we are killing Nature gets almost no coverage. No wonder Govts won't listen to eco common sense.

Where is the media @BBC @LBC @itvnews @MailOnline @itn when hundreds of thousands peaceful protests march for nature? @ChrisGPackham 100% correct when he said that the media only report whena bit of cornstarch is thrown on #Stonehenge #marchfornature
