🚨@aclu_dc exec. dir. Monica Hopkins has forced TWO union leaders – and the unions only stewards – on leave and is investigating them on bogus retaliatory charges.

Even as we celebrate this win, our bargaining chair is still on administrative leave pending an “investigation.” Attempting to fire a successful employee in retaliation for union activity is unacceptable. Keep up the momentum!

It makes no sense to challenge the Trump Administration for retaliating against federal workers, just to turn around and retaliate against union members who are working hard to fulfill the organization’s mission.

Union-busting alert: Two hours after this union action, @ACLU_DC executive director Monica Hopkins put our bargaining chair on forced leave and cancelled bargaining.
