I put tonight's game on in the background and watched Game 2 of the #Canucks/Leafs from '94. I swear Pavel Bure was trying crazy shit before it was cool. If he played during the social media era his popularity would be off the charts.

Truth
500 points in the NHL is an impressive feat, so is doing it in 533 games but EP40's regression the past couple seasons takes the shine away from what should be celebratory achievement

@8394Canucks I always thought the Nucks screwed up massively placing Klimmer directly into the AHL after he was drafted. Putting a 18 year old foreigner into pro in a foreign land was a recipe for failure. Should have played junior instead

There are zero reasons Klimovich should not get a look with the big club. He’s likely gone at the end of the year anyway. The #Canucks are terrible. It’s not like their roster is full of guys playing a 200ft game and making high IQ plays. We’ve locked up 32nd. Take a look.
Odds are very slim that Klimovich will be extended by Vancouver at end of year I'd like to see Klim reaper get in there for a few games just to see him at least play before moving on to next destination.

Per Elliotte Friedman, the NHL, AHL, and CHL are working toward an agreement that would allow 19-year-olds to play in the AHL next season. There would be no limit on eligibility, but players must have been selected in the first round. Thats Braeden Cootes music.
