As per the #Canucks press release, the Prospect Showcase will take place on/at the following days/locations: - Saturday, September 13 at 6:00pm in Everett - Sunday, September 14 at 4:00pm in Seattle I am excited to be making the trip to cover the event for @CanucksArmy!

Riley Patterson made his Niagara IceDogs pre-season debut over the weekend. The game had no broadcast, but he went 8/12 in face-offs. Sliding back into the middle on a more consistent basis will be a huge positive for his game and development – his usage wasn't great in Barrie.

Correction/Clarification: The 19 year old AHL change is not yet in effect. It requires agreement with CHL, & the NHL/NHLPA have agreed to push to get this agreement & change done for this season. However, those negotiations have not started yet & no guarantee it's effective

PuckPedia has corrected their post, and the 19-year-old change won't be in effect until 2026-27, as originally planned.

According to PuckPedia, 19-year-olds will get the green light to be loaned to the AHL this season. That doesn't affect the Canucks this year, but there are certainly some names around the league that will be in the running—Jett Luchanko and Sam Dickinson come to mind.
