Here's the rub... Auditing SS and removing ineligibles doesn't change the amount spent by 1 penny. It just changes how long the "IOUs" nominally last. Which will still be paid by future taxes, debt and inflation. It doesn't change the fundamental problem.
DOGE removed 12.3 million people from Social Security. The majority were over 120 years old. Some still receiving checks. $2,008 is the average monthly SS payout. Who was getting that money? Now tell me there’s no… EBT fraud. Voter fraud. SNAP fraud. Etc Audit everything.

You don’t save Social Security by raising the age to 70 years or older. You save it by removing everyone that is ineligible to receive it.

To say it was stolen, other than the fact that it's taxation, is misleading. There was never some account with dollars that were "stolen." The program was always designed such that any extra money would go into the general fund, with no obligation to put it aside.
Some difficult facts about Social Security: All that money you were forced to pay in has been stolen by the government and spent on other programs. Your “benefits” will be financed by stealing from you again by printing money the government doesn’t have to give you the benefits

During this shutdown the House has been on recess. We should reconvene to vote on paying soldiers, paying air-traffic controllers, & even funding food stamps (but withhold money for sugary drinks). Eventually we’ll pay for everything people want and defund stuff we don’t need.
Here’s my solution to the shutdown. Pass 12 separate bills. I made this video in 2018 when Schumer did the same thing he’s doing this week. It’s really worth a watch, because some things never change…. Well… the color of my hair changed but that’s about it!

Health Insurance is a means to mitigate risk of physical and financial calamity. It should NOT be used for routine care. Medicare For Old is $103 TRILLION (present value) in the hole, but I'm sure you'll figure it out for everybody.
Health insurance is not healthcare. It’s an unnecessary middleman designed to restrict access to healthcare and transfer wealth upwards by exploiting people for profit. Medicare for All: $0 premiums $0 deductibles $0 copays …and would cut spending by $650 billion per year

The shutdown is a good argument for repealing the 17th. Senators are supposed to represent the States, not the people or party. Prior to the 17th, Senators were appointed by state legislatures, and could be replaced if they didn't vote in the State's interests.
