A preemptive "i told you so" when Quebec wonders why all their doctors left - #Bill2 Doctors are expected to work 252 days a year, every weekday. We’re not allowed vacation. If we want to take a day off, we will be fined 40 per cent of our usual salary for that day. -

Abolish the Barack Obama Affordable Care Act American is self employed and can’t afford an insurance plan for herself because it’s too expensive so she just buys a “Child only” plan for her daughter She just got her 2026 renewal, it went up 46.96% in one year This is insane.

Enshitification by @doctorow is a must read for physicians - "...once a company is too big to fail, it becomes too big to jail, and then it becomes too big to care..." Thats the best description of the Big Health Insurance Complex that i've ever heard.

DirectCare is the solution for affordable care - but we have a volume problem - how do we get more people to know that healthcare can be affordable? No copays. Free procedures. Wholesale meds and labs for up to 95% less than retail. In turn, making ins better.

Ins premiums spiking over 300%?!? Now can we get serious about paying for healthcare in a way that works? DirectCare is working to make 80% or more of healthcare too cheap to insure...then we can really fix how we use ins to pay for whats left. https://t.co/MjKyYsB1EU

So many doctors feel trapped in the system, while there is an enormous demand for direct, individualized care Time for more colleagues to provide this much needed care Dr. Josh helped me, and I have helped several doctors & a few NPs get started on their own @AtlasMD

I wrote Friday that middling (unsubsidized) health insurance for a family is up to $30K a year. Wrong. Multiple people in high-cost states told me they're paying up to $50K. That's INSANE. American medicine is closer to breaking than we realize. Healthy people will just opt out
