I was in a work meeting recently and wanted to share an observation with the board, but my colleague, a man over 45, told me not to speak as a newcomer and to avoid meddling in the “Ogas’ business.” I was shocked
I think as nigerians we have a lot of unaddressed trauma so unaddressed that it has then become culture...that even addressing them look antithetical. I remember som1 who moved to UK telling me when he went to the therapist and recounted his story, the therapist started to cry.
