We will also be joined by HO Gauge layout, Geeksville. Since its last appearance at our show the layout has been extended to a continuous run layout. Which allows them to make the most of the long trains and full sound locomotives from North America Hope you can join us.

The 2nd layout that will be join us at our show on Saturday 14th September will be French’s Drove. A minimum space O gauge layout which really captures the essence of the agricultural railways such as the Wissington which were once such as part of the railways of the Fens. 7DU

Somewhat later than envisaged when the reconstruction commenced but another milestone. I am with @HS2ltd on Weds at Calvert and have been asked to create an archive of the area for publication.

I often get asked if I ever film/ take pictures of the HS2/EWR split near Calvert for EWR towards Bicester/ Aylesbury split, normally I'm only been filming the EWR Winslow Station construction but though I'd go and take a look at Calvert.

An utter sh*t show from the DfT for which @TPExpressTrains will take the flak. Brand new trains with no future because no one is prepared to make them work or train the staff. Instead, 20 year old trains will replace them with a reduced service. Make the Mk 5s work and use them!

More new stock for store. Confirmed that @TPExpressTrains will be removing its Class 68-hauled Nova 3 fleet from traffic at the start of the December timetable, with 185s and 802s covering their duties.

With @railindustry stating that @AvantiWestCoast deal for 805s and 807s from @HitachiRailENG is the last main line order placed, it means that as of 24/8/23 it has been 1,357 days since a new fleet for the UK main line network was ordered. 📷 Tony Winward.
