Very warm temps this morning in #DavisCounty #Utah. Almost 20 degrees warmer than yesterday’s low of 65 here at my home in #Centerville. What’s it like where you hang your hat.

Let’s hope this smoke stays away from Utah.
Check out this almost unbelievable time-lapse of wildfire smoke consuming the World Trade Center and the New York City skyline. Those vulnerable to poor air quality, including seniors and young children, should limit time outdoors if possible. More: https://t.co/ChRuWv7X6E

Temps remain above normal for the next 7 days at least, so the water is coming down. Join me for the forecast on @KUTV2News at 5 & 10 pm.
It's going to take several weeks until it is gone, but we're now past the beginning of the end for the upper elevation snowpack. Snowbird SNOTEL down 2.4 inches yesterday. I wish we could save some of this snow for next season!

Utah may see some interesting changes next winter compared to what we saw this winter, both in temperatures and precipitation. Keep conserving water. Utah is still the third driest state in the country.
ENSO Update 5/11: El Niño Watch remains in effect. A transition from ENSO-neutral to El Niño is expected in the next couple of months, with a greater than 90% chance of El Niño persisting into the Northern Hemisphere winter. #utwx #wywx
