Now that the widespread, heavy rain is out of the area, it's time to look ahead to the next chance. Sunday night into Monday morning will be another WFAA Weather Alert for heavy rain. Another widespread 1"-2"+ is in the forecast Sunday night - Monday morning.

Today was the wettest November day on record for DFW. That number will go up a little more tonight, but it's very impressive already! We also shattered today's daily record of 1.34" set back in 2009.

We're not done with the rain, but the heaviest rain is moving east of the metroplex... and MAN.... we had a lot of rain today. Today was the wettest November day on record at DFW. Rain coverage and intensity will continue to go down through the night.

Today's rain was a daily record, and we're adding to it. If we get 0.16" more, which seems likely, today will end up being the wettest November day on record for DFW.

Nothing severe! Light to moderate rain, with pockets of heavy rain, is moving through. The metroplex has a couple more hours of steady rain before it quickly tapers off after 7pm.

More heavy rain is moving into the metroplex. Rain will remain widespread through the afternoon/evening commute. Big slowdowns are extremely likely. This is not severe, but the rain will be heavy at times.
