fwiw devs are awesome, its a bit gross seeing people focus on only the negative aspects, I think the efforts to add new mechanics, QoL, transparent comms, and so on are all awesome. Some problems are just tough to figure out, too many variables to optimize for. GL squad ✌️

Its worth decoupling Ranked imo. Realm offered the possibility of two separate systems although drama, monetary element, and its 3rd party nature made it doomed to fail. I dont see why the top ~4k players cant have a separate elevated track with game rules more suited to them.

Group A to B: “Go play scrims” B to A: “Go play pubs” Both still play ranked, people still want the prestige and implicit rewards/progression that comes with the ranked ladder. I think both parties deserve that progression while still playing the game the way they want 🤷♂️

There is so much room for growth in comp, I know it takes a ton of insane work, but Apex had and will continue to be special, everyone deserves to celebrate it as a pinnacle in the esports community, but comp rarely (if at all) hits the mark. This should be a T1 esport

It’s hard to justify coming back home and spending 20+ hrs a week building analyst things for Apex. Love the game so much and it’s what drives me in the first place, but if you asked me if comp apex is worth the investment, honest to god I don’t know.
NA Pro League used to be this super important and respected event that was needed to determine champs Now? Mostly every single team is pre qualified for champs and it's simply filler to try to distract you from the 6-7 month break until LAN. L
