How I would fix Ranked in @PlayApex . Remove Contesting. Just like in Comp where we do a draft for our POIs in Ranked you should just be given a random POI. At the start of the game it should give you a message, your team is landing "Barometer" and then you can adjust ur.

I studied full time and worked 2 part time jobs at the start of Apex. It wasn't until I got signed by Alliance and got selfsustainable that I quit everything and gave Apex my all. Follow your dreams but don't be an idiot and hurt those around you while doing it ๐.
Imo having a back up plan is a bad idea. Might as well be planning for failure. Give it all you have for as long as you can manage and if it doesnโt workout it is a problem that can be solved in that moment. I donโt give failure my attention and energy.

I am all for expanding the ALGS to 160 teams to grow the esport, inspire up and coming players and give everyone a chance. But then you gotta go all the way and actually give everyone an equal starting field. The current version just seems halfassed imo. It's 2025 and this.

If you genuinely want to get good at Apex the absolute most efficient way to improve is to Solo pubs or Solo ranked and just try to take as many fights as possible. Don't be afraid to die. The more you die the more you learn and more you can improve.

First Impressions New Season of @PlayApex . TTK is way too fast bring back red armor atleast and I think it's pretty good, a few guns definitely need nerfs like lstar other than that it's quite enjoyable how many guns are viable in general. Ash is the most fun I've had in a long.

Not being aple to buy the Battle Pass with Apex Coins is really bad IMO. Being able to grind the battle pass and get value back for the next one was literally the best part about it. I don't mind adding more premium features for people that wants to pay more but the old option.

My biggest problem with @PlayApex atm personally is Matchmaking and the Solo Experience. Matchmaking at the highest level is way too casual and matchmaking at the casual level (pubs, mixtape,ltm) is way too sweaty. When I queue up in Pred lobbies the queue is almost instant.

The Ranked point system really needs to go. It forces teams to take bad fights and int because you literally gain 0 points if you don't. Which ends up with 5 squads zone 2 and games play out worse than pubs. Imagine if we were forced to get 6 KP in competitive tournaments. .
