Eventually, I had to pay the fare they demanded since I was getting late. It still feels like the same situation continues even after so many years, with the drivers deciding their own rates.

I reached Vasai Stn (W) near ticket counter and requested a rickshaw on meter. The auto driver replied, āIdhar abhi tak meter fare k board nahi laga hai.ā M not sure why some drivers speak rudely when we simply ask for a meter. @snehadubepandit @mbbarot69 @AapVasai @Latakarkala

Recently travelled from Kevadiya (Gujarat) to Vasai (Palghar) by car, and I must say the condition of the national highways in both Gujarat and Maharashtra is quite poor. While Maps showed an estimated travel time of 8 hr, the actual journey took nearly 12hr.@NHAI_Official
