The scene of the passenger train derailment on the west coast mainline at Shap, Cumbria. The southbound Avanti train travelling from Glasgow to London hit debris from a landslip causing the train to derail. All passengers and train crew were unharmed. Shot for @thetimes

RAIB has deployed a team of inspectors to the derailment in Cumbria. They will gather evidence to determine what further action, if any, we need to take.
