Long night. Annoying hiccup but it's the cost of doing business in this industry. Speaking with blockchain forensics firms and industry partners to figure out the most efficient path forward.
Rest assured this exploit will not throw us off track and users will be made whole.
Unfortunately, a bug in our multistrategy's ERC-4626 implementation has been exploited.
We were able to recover a portion of funds, and are working on a compensation plan for any affected users.

the "I'm thinking many years down the line" had nothing to do with the FVM. Mt "thinking" is that "years down the line," any blockchain will eventually be filled to capacity and so L2 will always be relevant, no matter how much thoroughput the base network has.
