Today is #WorldAlzheimersDay. My mother is in her 21st year of Alzheimer's. She's still healthy, thanks mainly to how my father learnt to deal with the disease. Daddy passed away four years ago, but she's still well looked after. This is a little bit about their journey.

Is the word 'basis' being used as a verb an Indian corporate thing? 'I will confirm this basis our availability' Because it sounds DISGUSTING. It was earlier a written mail thing, but now people use it in conversation. It's worse than 'preponed' and 'revert back'.
