The process is not a set in stone procedure by any means. For each proposal, we adjust it to keep ☝️only what's essential for the context. Having the process described gives us traction and peace of mind needed to prepare each release; and helps build trust with those who vote.

Lido runs on contributions from many autonomous teams, each working on their part of the protocol at their own pace, with their own rituals and goals. To be activated on mainnet, all upgrades require Lido DAO approval through an LDO token vote that reaches quorum.
